Rodger has been with us for 24, fly-by years, as our Plumbing/Piping Superintendent. We caught up with Rodger in one of our marketing meetings and asked him what he plans to do after he leaves our doors for the last time, he said, “you can’t get rid of me that quickly, I’ll still be consulting till the end of the year”! Well-played, Rodger, well-played. But in all seriousness, we asked what he looks forward to doing after 24 years of being in the throws of the industry? He plans to spend some time working at Central Penn Sporting Clays. Rodger is a sporting clays enthusiast or should we say professional according to the word around the office. I guess you get that reputation when you buy clays by the skids. Rodger is looking forward to traveling with his wife, Beverly to different sporting clay tournaments showing up the competition. We asked one last question, and that was what will you miss about Walton? His answer wasn’t a surprise, “the people, I worked for a good company”. You could tell the love he has for the company and his friends from the office, he will be missed.
Rodger is also an advocate for puppy rescues and is pictured with his adorable Chili.
We couldn’t be sadder to see him retire, but we know the department will be in good hands with Wayne Kump heading the Plumbing and Piping sector.
Best wishes in the future Rodger, Your friends from Walton!
