Kevin Rue puts in 22 years as a plumber and his last job will be at Port Deposit. He’s pretty excited to cut his hour-and-a-half travel time down to only a couple of minutes to his local fishing hole. He says, “I guess I’ll have to do it alone for a while, all my buddies are working”. And this includes his biggest supporter and the Love of His Life, Brenda, they’ve been married for 42 years this August but she’s a bit younger than him, so he laughs and says, “Someone has to pay my insurance, she has to keep on working”.  “Brenda might be a bit jealous come next Monday when I don’t have to wake up and go to work, but she will also be my biggest advocate, I’d be half the man without her”. 

He will surely miss all the guys he has worked with over the years but is excited to find time for himself and to watch and visit the grandkids more often.  He’s looking forward to watching 2 out of his 4 grandkids this summer, their ages are 9 and 5 years old. “I would imagine they will be keeping me busy”.
