After 12 years and 2 months with Walton & Company, Kevin Wagaman has hung up his tools and stepped into retirement—with some exciting plans ahead.
Kevin began his career at Walton in the Gas Line department, working under Bill Vervaeke, Building Services Manager. For five years, he served as a Gas Line Technician, bringing skill and consistency to every job. He later transitioned to the Plumbing department, where he worked first under Roger Becker and then Wayne Kump, Plumbing and Pipefitting Superintendent, following Roger’s retirement.
What kept Kevin committed for over a decade? “The people,” he said simply. From coworkers to customers, it was the relationships and day-to-day camaraderie that made all the difference. It’s a true reflection of the culture Walton has built—one where support and connection matter.
Kevin is celebrating his retirement surrounded by friends, laughter, and well-wishes—a fitting sendoff for someone who’s made a lasting impact at Walton. But the real surprise? He’s packing up and moving to Maine, a place he fell in love with while visiting his son.
Before signing off, Kevin shared a special shoutout: “Chad Becker especially made my time here—he always knew how to keep things interesting.” The two built a great friendship over the years, filled with laughs, support, and plenty of memorable moments.
Kevin, thank you for your dedication, your humor, and the years of hard work. We wish you all the best as you take on your next adventure—enjoy every moment of retirement!
