After 33 years of devoted service to Walton & Company, Jim Norton is retiring as Director of Engineering and Vice President. As Jim transitions into this exciting new chapter of his life, it’s clear that his impact on the company and the industry will be felt for years to come.

Jim’s leadership has shaped Walton & Company in countless ways, but as he steps away from his role, he’s quick to share what he won’t miss. “I won’t miss the constant pressure of the deadlines,” Jim says with a smile. “The fast-paced nature of the job can be overwhelming, and while I’ve enjoyed the challenge, I’m looking forward to the freedom of not always racing against the clock.”

As Jim prepares to step away from the daily grind, he’s looking forward to enjoying more time with his family and pursuing hobbies that he’s long put on hold. “I’ll be spending my days enjoying the things I haven’t had time for,” he shares. “I’m excited about traveling, getting outdoors, and just being able to relax without the demands of a job site or office.” With more time to focus on personal passions and family, Jim’s retirement promises to be filled with new adventures and well-deserved relaxation.
