Walton & Co. begins 2025 stronger than ever, thanks in part to the impactful leadership of President Andy Volovar. After 23 years with the company, Andy is preparing for his much-deserved retirement later this year, passing the torch to Jason Hamme, who is ready to build on the strong foundation Andy helped establish.
Andy Volovar’s Impact on Walton & Co.
Twenty-four years ago, Andy joined Walton for what he thought would be a short, two-week stint as interim Chief Financial Officer. Shortly after his arrival, Andy was asked to stay on board as Walton’s CFO, a role that he would hold for the next 20 years until his appointment to president in 2021. Andy’s legacy at Walton has helped drive community relations, building our reputation, and solidifying the company as an industry leader.
Under Andy’s leadership, Walton experienced tremendous growth tripling its revenue by 2024 and solidifying its reputation as an industry leader. Andy championed a people-first culture that fostered collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being.
Today, Walton’s 250-strong workforce, with an average tenure of over 10 years, is a testament to the strength of this culture. Andy’s dedication to integrity, quality, and teamwork—the core principles of “The Walton Way” is visible in every facet of the company.
